The intervention consists in restoring the attic floor of a tripartite typology block dating back to the pre-nineteenth century. The property occupies the top floor and a cell on the side of the second floor. The project includes a uninterrupted concatenation of the living spaces. The interior spaces can be perceived also looking at the property from the public street. From the entrance to the second floor, deliberately compressed with a prospective effect that was specifically created with splayed wooden walls and inclined ceiling, one perceives the expansion of the spaces that progressively expand, and once you are on the stone staircase you can climb to the top floor where the renovated through living room opens to the kitchen. The big wall bookshelf that defines the through living room hides the most private part of the house. The project involved the complete rebuilding of the roof with renovation interventions, where possible, of the primary roof frame and it was completed with the construction of a covered roof-terrace that offers panoramic vistas of the rooftops and surrounding domes.
