The project for the construction of the new head office of the Centre Gyrotonic in Venice develops in a part of an old factory belonging to the Architecture Industrial heritage of the historic centre. The building to be restored is set out in two levels composed of two big open spaces. The intervention consists in inserting some volumes on the ground floor, which will accommodate the facilities of the new centre. The choice of using light and translucent materials, such as alveolar polycarbonate, and to limit the height, is due to the need not to distort the perception of the original volumes.
